John 11 :25 (MEV)
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, yet shall he live.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, yet shall he live.
All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
But he took away all our weakness! He carried our pain for us. We thought that he was receiving punishment for his own sins. We thought that God was causing him to suffer.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.
Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Be strong and be brave! Do not be afraid of those people, because the Lord your God goes with you. He will always be there to help you. He will never leave you.
Now my friends, I want to say this to you. Fill your minds with thoughts about good things. Think about things that are true, clean, right and lovely. Always think about things which people know are very good.
Seek the Kingdom of God[a] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
